Mr Adamopoulos Excellent mini light with many mounting options. Very bright for it's size!
Jo This is a really versatile light - loads of fittings to fit any bike, it's really bright and a great price. V pleased.
Andrew Hyde A perfect fit for both my helmets. Lights are very bright.
Wes Really good value. Very bright and sturdy.
John B Great little light. Using it on the helmet and it comes with a good range of fixing options. Nice selection of modes and bright enough to be a useful backup light
Mr Boasman Compact, light and bright. You don't feel it in your helmet.
Mr Fitzgerald Excellent. I have it on the drops. Good additional safety for dark nights and rush hour traffic.
Jamfa Great light, good settings for multi use and fast charge, having multiple mounts is very handy
John P Excellent commute lights
Smokesreen Great little light for anyone doing long-distance rides with aero bars. My aero handlebars can't accommodate most lights to I use one of theseon the aero extensions. Has great functionality and provides just enough light to show the way on dark roads. It's definitely not the brightest light in the world but it's the only one I've found that does the job. So good that I bought it a second time and I'm pleased to find that on this new one they've included a ratcheting wheel to allow the up/down angle to be adjusted on the fly (whereas the position was fixed on my existing one). Great light. would recommend.
Mr Kingdom Easy to set up and works fine used it twice so far and it seems accurate
Smokesreen Nice little light. Eaxctly what I needed for my aerobars for along-distance event that I'm participating in. It's really well thought out as it can be mounted horizontally on handlebars, or facing forward, on aerobars. As other reviewers have said, the light isn't particuarly bright, so it's not the greatest for showing the way, but it ought to do just enough to see potholes on unlit roads. The feature that enables it to also operate as a rear light (simultaneously) is good for regular road bikes with dropped handlebars, but it's great that you have the option to run it without the rear light because where I've mounted it on the aerobar it would dazzle me. As with all Moon lights, build quality is good and the lighting options are excellent (different flashing/steady modes). A very well thought out design that could just be improved by adding more power to the front light.
Mark Great lights, just ensure you keep the charger plug firmly fixed in, not the best water seal.
Mr Byrne Using as a helmet light. It is okay but not powerful enough to be your primary light.
Mr Anderson This small light is just what I was after. It's compact and has various modes that I like.
Mr FABRE good for now
Mark Great lights, visible front and rear. Plenty of angle adjustment too. Using them as a pair mounted on the drops.
Howard Excellent small light that mounts in a space that is always available with drop bars. I always try to have one with me day or night
Philip Great value light. Tiny and light but super bright!!
Mr SAWFORD Neat little light works well to be seen by at dusk. I use this on my aero bike and I wanted a small but bright light. I have bought Moon brand lights before and find them reliable to use.
Julian For being seen, this light is bright from both rear and front. The helmet attachment is very easy to set up and adjustable. Only down side was switching it on with gloves, as the button is integrated into the rear light and there isn`t a physical click. So while riding, I couldn`t actually turn it on. With no gloves or fingerless gloves, the switch is very responsive. So maybe if wearing gloves, just have it on from the start. I`d probably dock half a star for this point, but not enough to make it down to 4 stars. The light is small and light. A good purchase.
Mr Collins Had one before - rate it highly hence bought another. Minus one star because rear red light stopped working after a year or so on first one.
Keith Ideal Light weight backup light and reasonably priced.
Mr Clawson Moon lights were completely off my radar, then I saw this light. I was looking for an auxiliary light and this seemed to fit the bill. I was impressed at the brightness of the light. I have a section on my commute that takes me though a park and this light is brighter than my Lezyne, OK I could turn up the brightness of the Lezyne but then it burns through the power quite quickly. I would go so far to say that this is not just an auxiliary light but a light in its own right, although not sure if it would be legal. Operation: You operate the light by clicking the rear light button. At first I couldn`t get the rear light to work. A single click starts the front light, but you need to do a double click to get the rear light working. This starts the lights working in flashing mode you can press it a couple of times to get it on constant mode. Fixing: it is supplied with two sets of fixing one for attachment with silicone bands (two supplied) and one with velcro. I used the velcro attachment to attach the light to my helmet. Charging: The only annoying thing about the light for me is when I put it on charge at my desk at work the red flashing light is too bright and is distracting. That`s easily rectified by covering it over with something. Some people may even like this feature some other lights it is difficult to know when they are charging and have charged. Overall, I`m impressed with the light and the Merlin price was the cheapest. I would certainly buy another one, of this same model or another model when I need to replace my other lights.
Russell I use these purely as forward-facing 'notice-me' lamps. They are surprisingly bright and can upset on-coming drivers if set horizontal. They appear well made and durable. For me there are two minor irritants but otherwise they are an excellent 'running' light. The usb input socket is in the same plane as the mount and in my location that prevents fitting the charging cable in-situ or of using a power-pack to extend operating life into weeks. The other minor irritant is that they do not remember their last setting. I don't use them as primary road illumination but I do recommend them as running lights
Peter Lin Compact light for rides in the dark that makes you visible, the angle of the mount can adjust so it doesn`t matter if your bar end is not level.
Mr HAYASHI Great, nice Front/Rear Bike light. Easily set on my road bike handle bar and easily handled. Thanks very much for the nice price. I'll recommend this Moon Light to others.
fred.e What a great little light. I purchased two as I needed something lightweight for my helmet and also for my drop bars as pictured. Fantastic price too from Merlin
Mr Parsons I bought this as a helmet light to be see by for commuting. It's light and bright and has multiple fitting options, recommended!
cote I live 30 miles West of Boston Massachusetts. I commute 10 miles each way to work. The first 2 miles is a heavy traffic area. I really like the Moon Aerolite Front/Rear Bike Lite. On flash mode it gives me added visibility to traffic. The last 8 miles is all back road. I switch the lights to full bright at that point. I use these lights to compliment other lights on my bike. This was my first experience with Merlin Cycles. I received my order quickly and my purchase was exactly as expected. Thank you Merlin Cycles. I will be making other purchases and recommend you to my cycling friends.
